Daegwallyeong Native Korean Beef in Apgujeong — Premium Hanwoo, Pork Ribs, and a 24/7 Dining Experience

If you’re looking for a place in Apgujeong to enjoy premium Korean beef (hanwoo) and delicious pork ribs, Daegwallyeong Native Korean Beef (Apgujeong Branch) is the spot to visit. Located on the basement floor, this massive restaurant spans an impressive 800-pyeong (2,600 m²) space, making it one of the largest barbecue restaurants in the area. With spacious group tables, private rooms, and 24-hour year-round operation, it’s perfect for gatherings of any kind—whether it’s a company dinner, a family celebration, or even a late-night date.

Parking is also convenient: free for up to two hours before 5 p.m. and three hours after 5 p.m., with valet service available for just 3,000 KRW. Accessibility couldn’t be better.

The meat quality here truly lives up to its reputation. As a butcher-style restaurant, you can select your preferred cuts directly—sirloin, ribeye, chuck flap tail, tenderloin, and more. Grilled over powerful charcoal, the meat cooks quickly and retains its juicy tenderness. A sprinkle of salt highlights the natural flavor, while fresh vegetables like lettuce and baby cabbage make every bite even more satisfying.

While the main highlight is hanwoo, the restaurant’s signature pork ribs are not to be missed. Marinated in a savory doenjang (soybean paste) sauce with a subtle sweetness, the ribs are grilled over charcoal to perfection, bursting with flavor and tenderness.

The side dishes are another strong point. The dongchimi (radish water kimchi) is particularly refreshing—light, cool, and not overly sweet, making it a crowd-pleaser for all ages. A self-service station is also available for free refills.

Beyond meat, the menu offers a variety of Korean favorites: yuk sashimi (raw beef slices), yukhoe (Korean beef tartare), galbitang (beef short rib soup), kimchi stew, braised mackerel with radish, acorn sujebi (hand-pulled dough soup), and mul-naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles). Even at lunchtime, you can enjoy a satisfying meal here. After dining, free popcorn and coffee are provided as a nice finishing touch.

The restaurant has been featured on several popular TV programs, including Delicious Guys and Meat Meets You, and is known for celebrity visits from figures like Kang Ho-dong.

Of course, premium hanwoo comes at a premium price. But given the outstanding meat quality, wide range of menu options, spacious setting, and excellent service, it’s well worth it.

For anyone planning a group dinner, family gathering, or special celebration in Apgujeong, I highly recommend visiting Daegwallyeong Native Korean Beef (Apgujeong Branch).

Honest Review of Negi Dining Lounge in Garosugil, Sinsa

I recently visited Negi Dining Lounge for a dinner outing in Gangnam. It’s conveniently located near Sinsa Station, Exit 8 , making it easy to access. The restaurant is on the 4th floor of a building, and there’s an elevator available , so no worries about climbing stairs! For those driving, valet parking is available. We had a 6 PM bar seat reservation, which allowed us to watch the chefs prepare dishes up close. While this was interesting, the atmosphere at the bar was quite busy and lively. If you're looking for a quiet, intimate setting, I’d recommend choosing a table seat instead. 🍽️ Menu & Taste Review ⭐ 1. Truffle + Jamón + Ajitsuke Tamago (24,000 KRW) The first dish was already a big hit! A perfectly cooked soft-boiled egg (Ajitsuke Tamago) topped with Jamón and fresh truffle —as soon as I took a bite, the rich aroma of truffle filled my mouth. It was a fantastic appetizer, but I wished there was more because it was so delicious! A must-try menu item at Negi. ⭐ ...
